If you cancel for any reason at any time, 50% of your reservation total will be charged to your credit card unless we are able to re-rent your camp site at the full rate and for the entire time you reserved it.

The Stompin Grounds Appreciates every guest that has visited us over the years. We also want our guests to enjoy our campground. For these reasons, we’ve developed a set of rules that we’d like to share with you to help keep our campground safe, beautiful, and sustainable for years to come.

Thank you for taking time to review and follow these rules.

THE #1 RULE: DO NOT DO ANYTHING STUPID – USE YOUR MANNERS

  • Check In at 2 – Check Out by 11 am
  • Pay before you proceed to campground.
  • Units are required to be backed into sites. We will help you if you can’t.
  • Use the pads provided and proper parking areas provided.
  • Picnic tables are provided.
  • Keep Music to a respectful level.
  • Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Shower/bathroom facilities are for human use only. Shower house is the Storm Shelter. We have a Septic System – Please don’t put foreign object in toilets or drains. Stay on the roads, and don’t drive over our drain field. Vandalism is not tolerated.

Help us keep it green and healthy and the dust down. No trucks or trailers on the grass. Please don’t dump chemicals or start a bon-fire on it. Pick up after your pets.

  • When at camp, please park your ORV and/Auto. Cruising is not allowed.
  • Don’t operate on grass. Stay on the roads.
  • When leaving camp – proceed directly to the trail.
  • Intoxicated operation is not allowed.
  • Helmets are required by all riders, 16 and younger, entering and heading out to trails.
  • Dispose of chemicals properly. Do not dump in fire pit or on the ground.

Kind, respectful pets and kids are always welcome. Excessive noise (i.e. barking or screaming) is not welcome. Take pets into the woods for their “doodies” or clean up after them. A leash is required at all times for pets – State Law. Pick up after kids and pets and respect other guests. BOTH Children AND Pets are to be supervised at all times.

Please use rings provided – don’t move them. Use State Certified firewood if you bring it. Firewood is available on site. Please ask prior to 8pm if you need some (7pm starting in September). Do Not leave fires unattended – Be Safe! No garbage, Cans, Bottles, Chemicals in fire pits. Cutting trees for firewood, and uncertified wood is not allowed.

Please park vehicles in designated parking areas. Stay off the grass. At Campsites, vehicles park on pad – not on grass.

No Fireworks or Weapons/Firearms discharged. No Keg Parties. No Speeding (5 mph) at all times. Keep area clean – a charge will occur for cleaning sites. No Stealing or Vandalism. Keep out of posted areas. Use picnic table and deck chairs appropriately.

Please report any inappropriate activity to use as soon as possible. If you find it difficult to follow our rules, we’d like to ask that you consider leaving. If caught not following our rules, you will be required to leave.
